Perks and Privileges

Here's a list of some of the services that we offer to interns living at Xavier.

  • Parking: FREE! If you choose to bring a car to campus, you will register it through the Intern Portal and receive a parking pass on your move in day. This pass is included in your rent payments.
  • Mail: Interns can receive mail on campus by using the mailing address provided to them in the Intern Portal. The Intern Mail Room is located in Campus Services Building and is open Monday - Friday from 8:30am to 7:00pm.
  • Laundry: Laundry facilities can be found in the common spaces of each building. Interns can choose to use coin-operated machines or card-operated machines. To use the card-activated machines, interns should load money on to their key card using the "X-Cash system," which can also be done on the Intern Portal. Costs are $1.25 to wash and $1.00 to dry.
  • Cleaning: Apartments will be cleaned prior to the interns' arrival, but not throughout the summer in most buildings. Interns will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their apartments.
  • Fitness: Xavier is home to the O'Connor Sports Center (OSC), which has fitness rooms, gym space and a full pool. Interns can purchase a summer-long membership for a $100 flat fee by going to visit the facility.
