Here's a list of some of the services that we offer to interns living at Xavier.

Summer Guest Housing Desk:  Our team will be available all summer long to provide support and answer your questions. The Summer Guest Housing Desk is located in Bishop Fenwick Place (1625 Musketeer Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45207), in the atrium between Currito and Hoff Dining Hall. 

The desk is staffed:

  • Monday – Friday:  7am-9:30am & 4-9pm
  • Saturday & Sunday:  12pm-5pm
  • Holidays:  12pm-5pm

Summer Guest Housing Hotline:  Guests can call the Summer Guest Housing Hotline at 513-745-4203, it will ring to the Summer Guest Housing Desk and the Summer Guest Housing Office, and we’ll be happy to help. 
SafetyXavier Police Department serves and protects campus 24/7/365, including a guide to staying safe as well as safety escort
WiFi:  Simply select the "xavierguest" wireless network to connect
Parking: FREE! If you choose to bring a car to campus, you will register your vehicle and receive a parking pass on your move in day.
Mail: Interns can receive mail and packages on campus by using a mailing address that will be provided.
Laundry and X-Cash: Laundry facilities can be found in the common spaces of each building. Interns can choose to use coin-operated machines or card-operated machines.
Fitness: Xavier is home to the O'Connor Sports Center (OSC), which has fitness rooms, gym space and a full pool. Interns can purchase a summer-long membership for a $100 flat fee by going to visit the facility. 
Xavier Housing Policies create a safe and reliable community
Cleaning: Apartments will be cleaned prior to your arrival, but not throughout the summer, unless you stay in Buenger Hall where your bathroom will be lightly cleaned once per week. Interns are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of their apartments.

Packing List

We recommend that interns bring the following:

  • Kitchen wares (dishes, cups, utensils, pots and pans)
  • Microwave (except Commons Apartments, included)
  • Lamps, especially in Village Apartments and 1019 Dana (little/no overhead lighting)
  • TV plus coaxial cord to connect to cable outlet
  • Shower curtain and shower rings - 1 or 2 per apartment
  • Trash bins
  • Tissues, toilet paper, paper towels
  • Toiletries
  • Cleaning supplies, including a broom and/or vacuum
  • Extension cords, surge protectors and power strips
  • Linens (twin XL sheets, blankets, pillows, towels, washcloths)
