At Xavier, we value the relationship we have with parents of our students. At a time when students can back away from parental contact, please be assured we will do our best to keep you up to date on what is happening on our campus. How do we do this?

  • Parent/Family Advisory Board (PFAB) - This group of 30 or so parents scattered across the country meets on campus twice each year to discuss how best to support our students. An advisory board, we also provide recommendations to various campus offices. Some members also volunteer to host student receptions in their homes, attend college fairs in their hometowns, or participate in on-campus parent panels for parents of newly accepted students.

  • Family Weekend - Student Success and PFAB promote Family Weekend which is held on campus each October.

  • Musketeer Family Newsletter - Student Success emails a newsletter to parents of all undergraduates five times each year. In each issue, readers will find important dates, information on new programs, and updates from our three colleges. PFAB often makes suggestions as to what information parents would find helpful.
