Assistant Director of Student Success and Academic Advising, Enrollment Management and Student Success
I earned my Master of Education in Agency and Community Counseling at Xavier in 1998. Prior to that, I tried a few majors before settling on Liberal Arts. I also have an Associate’s Degree in Marketing. I’ve worked at Xavier, plus two other local universities, as a registrar, academic advisor and admission counselor. Working as a Success Coach has been the most rewarding.
Coffee is perhaps my favorite thing, but I also love dogs, baking, 1970’s rock, puzzles and laughing. I have two college-age daughters who keep me current and busy. I love working with students!
Favorite thing about Xavier
The caring, dedicated people. I feel like this is my second family.
Favorite thing about Cincinnati
So many things! We have all the perks of a big town with a small town feel. Our parks are beautiful places, so be sure to check them out.
Best advice for an incoming first year student
Try to connect with others, join clubs, engage with people, and try new things. This is your time. Manage it well and have fun! Be sure to meet with your Success Coach, too. We are here for you.
