Autumn Richards

Born in Cincinnati to two teachers, I have always loved being around and learning from others. I briefly crossed the Ohio River into Kentucky to earn my Bachelor’s in Math and Spanish Education from Western Kentucky University and my Master’s in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville... but I came right back to Cinci! I truly love working as a Success Coach to support students academically and personally through their first and second years of college. Watching a student transform throughout those two years is such a privilege for me!

When I’m not on Xavier’s campus, you can find me at a local coffee shop or hiking with my husband and two pups, Cooper and Moose!

Favorite thing about Xavier
I love Xavier’s focus on cura personalis- caring for others and recognizing all of the unique things that make up a whole person. I love getting to know all of my students as individuals and watching how they leave their mark on our campus! Oh and I love the Caf’s desserts too!

I love the history of Cincinnati- every street and neighborhood has their own unique story and vibe. Take a guided tour of our city while you are here... you will be amazed at how much you learn!

Best advice for an incoming first year student
Grab a friend (or someone from class!) and go to as many on-campus events as you can! You’ll meet new people, have a blast, AND there’s usually free food!
