School of Arts and Innovation
We are artists and innovators
We take risks, learn from failure, and explore new possibilities. We collaborate with each other, across disciplines, and with professionals. We listen, we inspire, we nurture, and we tell the truth. We ask why. We find our voices, tell our stories, and make our community strong.
So you want to be an artist. Or maybe you already are one. Whichever the case, we'll help you make your mark on the art scene by perfecting your craft-whether it's printmaking, ceramics, photography or fiber arts. Mentors are here to guide you on a path that may take you across the world or help you change it.
In a rapidly changing digital world, you never know what will be the next new thing. But you'll be ready. At Xavier, you'll master the art of visual storytelling and explore the latest in digital media production and technologies. You'll also use innovation and work with our award-winning faculty and staff. By the time you graduate, you'll be ready to share your stories with the world.
If music is your passion, we can make it your vocation. And being a virtuoso is not a pre-requisite-your acceptance into the Xavier music program is based upon your musical literacy rather than performance accomplishments. It's from that starting point that you'll discover and follow your passions and interests, whether it's education, performance, theatre or directing.
We know that your talents are just as unique as you are. Study in a students-first program that is small enough for everyone to know you as an individual, with a big enough community to connect you with professionals and career contacts after graduation. We'll immerse you in practical opportunities that will allow you to play to your strengths, while also offering you the attention to build up your weaknesses, making you ready to take the next step.
