“Fall 2021 Update: As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, Xavier is actively working to codify the choral offerings for the fall of 2021. Students from any field of study who wish to join a choral ensemble should contact Dr. Matthew Swanson (swansonm2@xavier.edu) for more information, and to indicate their interest. We look forward to hearing from you!”

The Xavier University Women's Chorus includes students from all disciplines who love to sing and enjoy the camaraderie that achieving excellence in choral performance brings to its members. This ensemble sings a variety of treble repertoire, frequently featuring the poetry and music of female artists and performs on campus and throughout the community each semester. In April 2017, the Women's Chorus performed in the National Festival Chorus at Carnegie Hall in New York City. A placement hearing is held at the beginning of each semester for acceptance into the ensemble. Contact Dr. Matthew Swanson for more information.
