Regina Pugh

Adjunct Faculty, Theatre Program

Regina Pugh is a 30-year member of Actor's Equity Association and works professionally as an actor and director in Cincinnati. After receiving her MFA in Acting from Southern Illinois University, she completed an Internship at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and, due to the growing and thriving local theatre community, decided to make Cincinnati her home. She has performed at Cincinnati Playhouse (including 20 years in the holiday favorite, A Christmas Carol) Ensemble Theatre and Know Theatre of Cincinnati, among others. She has also directed many productions for Ensemble Theatre, most recently A Doll's House, Part II in 2019 and Photograph 51 in 2020. She is a founding member of Performance Gallery, an experimental troupe that has produced a new work of devised theatre or an original script in every year of the Cincinnati Fringe Festival. Her continuing professional training includes a week-long summer workshop with the world-renown  dance company, Pilobolus, and professional workshops in Commedia Dell'Arte, Simple Clown, Rasaboxes, Viewpoints, Fitzmaurice Voicework and Intimacy Direction.
