Daniel Batchelder

Musicologist Daniel Batchelder's research lies at the intersections of music, drama, and aesthetics, with a particular emphasis on the animated film musicals of the Walt Disney Studios. He has presented at national and international academic conferences, and his review of the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Master Score received the Eva Judd O'Meara Award for best review in the journal Notes. He has taught courses on Hollywood musicals, Broadway, and the history of rock.
