Xavier Days of Solidarity and Service 2018

Thursday, October 4, 2018
Thursday, November 15, 2018

8:30 am - 2:00 pm

Registration for the Fall is now closed.

This Fall, Xavier's Office of Human Resources and Center for Mission and Identity will co-sponsor two days of solidarity and service for faculty and staff as we continue to grow our relationships with our local community.

As you know, part of our Jesuit tradition is to develop people for and with others. Striving to live out Xavier's new well-being model which encourages us to make connections with our community, as well as our newly revised Mission Statement which includes the value of service and two of the Gifts of Our Ignatian Heritage (Solidarity and Kinship and Service Rooted in Justice and Love), we encourage all faculty and staff to sign-up to support the local community on one of the two service days.

For more information, contact Stephanie Bolen in the Office of Human Resources or Joe Shadle in the Center for Mission and Identity.

The descriptions below provide some idea of what might be expected at each site, and the specific needs for that day might vary depending on the immediate needs of the service site.
