Foundations of Health Services Administration Certification Program

Overview

The Xavier University certificate in the foundations of health services administration provides students in the Xavier doctoral program in psychology a knowledge base in health care administration necessary to run an independent practice. Students complete 12 hours of coursework.

Courses

The Xavier certificate in the foundations of health services administration consists of nine credit hours of core courses and three hours of elective courses taken on a part-time basis for four semesters. Nine-to-twelve hours are taken in the graduate program in health services administration although three hours may be taken in the Williams College of Business or School of Psychology.
