Dr. France Weaver is an assistant professor in the Department of Health Services Administration. She has a Ph.D. in Health Policy and Administration, with a concentration in Health Economics, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a MS in Economics from University of Lausanne, Switzerland, and a BS in Economics from University of Neuch√Ętel, Switzerland.

She held research positions at the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA) at Indiana University in Bloomington IN and the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) in Washington DC. She also taught Health Economics and Health Policy at the Geneva School of Economics and Management at the University of Geneva, Switzerland, and Health
Services Research Methods at Penn State University.

At Xavier University, she teaches Health Economics and Health Policy and Policy Analysis at the graduate level and Health Policy to undergraduate students in Health Services Administration. Dr. Weaver has taught a broad array of graduate, undergraduate and online courses, and has experience mentoring students in Ph.D. dissertations, Master theses, graduate and undergraduate advising. France has numerous publications, scholarly writing, and presentations in the USA and Europe.
