Dr. France Weaver holds a PhD in Health Policy and Administration, with a concentration in Health Economics, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, MS in Economics from University of Lausanne (Switzerland), and BS in Economics from University of Neuchâtel (Switzerland). Her expertise is in the determinants of the demand for health services and aging-related policy evaluation, using applied econometric methods. She has worked for various policy and research institutions in the US and Europe.
At Xavier University, she manages the executive track of the Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) and teaches Economics for Health Management and Policy, Health Policy and Policy Analysis, and the Capstone course for executive students. Dr. Weaver has taught a broad array of graduate, undergraduate, and online courses and has experience in mentoring students. Lastly, she has numerous peer-reviewed publications, scholarly writings, and professional presentations in the US and Europe.
