Mr. Dwight Ellingwood

Teaching Professor, Health Services Administration

Mr. Dwight "Dee" Ellingwood joined the MHSA faculty in fall 2017 and teaches the Management, Strategy, and Capstone courses.

Mr. Ellingwood is a well-known and experienced health services executive, as he has been the Senior Vice President of Strategy, Communications and Public Affairs at TriHealth, Cincinnati, the Lead Executive for the Collective Impact on Health at The Health Collaborative, Cincinnati, a Senior Vice President for Planning and Business Development at Cincinnati Children's Hospital and Medical Center, and a Vice President for Network Development at CHRISTUS Spohn Health System in Corpus Christi TX. He has served as an adjunct professor at Texas AandM University in Corpus Christi TX.

Dee has extensive community service at several organizations, including Meridian Biosciences Inc, Tennis for Charity, Xcelerated Learning Dynamics, HealthBridge, Greater Cincinnati Health Council, Ohio Children's Hospital Association, and Hoxworth Blood Center.

Mr. Ellingwood has MS and BS degrees in Economics from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City UT. In 2010 Mr. Ellingwood received our MHSA "Preceptor of the Year" award in recognition of his outstanding service as a preceptor to administrative residents at CCHMC. He and his wife KayCee enjoy their family and traveling.
