The Mailing Services Department is a contract US Postal Station. We offer all of the normal USPS functions including standard mail, Priority Mail, and Express Mail. We offer a variety of stamps available for purchase, as well as printed metering for on-campus departments. We are a pickup and drop off point for all student packages.

Students are sent an email (to their Xavier email address) daily for any packages that arrive addressed to them. Mail (letters, small items) are placed in their mail box which corresponds with their dorm or apartment room number. (ex. Student lives in Kuhlman Hall 100, their mail box is Kuhlman Hall 100) *It is the responsibility of the student to check their mail frequently and/or for packages.
What time of day does UPS, FedEx Ground, FedEx Express, FedEx Home, and DHL deliver packages to the Xavier Mail Center?
All major package carriers deliver once per day. UPS, FedEx Home and FedEx Express delivers between the hours of 10:30am and 11:30am. FedEx Ground delivers between the hours of 1:30pm and 3:30pm.
All USPS packages being sent via the federal post office for the university are picked up every morning between 9:30am and 10:30am by staff at the university Mail Center from the Norwood Post Office.
Yes. Depending on the amount requested there is a fee ranging from $1.20 - $1.60 associated. The maximum amount a money order can be issued for is $1000.00. Payment for money orders can be paid with cash or check ONLY.
At the post office in Roselawn located just a few miles away from campus at the corner of Seymour Ave. and Reading Rd. Additional information regarding obtaining or renewing a Passport can be obtained online.
We currently accept Cash, Check, and X Cash. (Note: Credit/Debit is accepted by placing money to your current X Cash account. Please see the X Cash depositing pages for more details.) As of Nov. 1st, 2017 we cannot accept Xcash for money order.
