Evaluation criteria

When you search for information, you need to determine if it is good information. The CRAAP Test is a mnemonic device that can help. These five criteria can be applied to books, articles, and websites.

  • Currency

  • Relevance

  • Authority

  • Accuracy

  • Purpose.
