International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. This joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education is part of our efforts to promote programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.

Travel Endorsement Signature Week in CIE from 8:30am-5:00pm
Are you an international student with plans to travel out of the USA over winter break? Drop off your I-20 form for a travel endorsement signature. This event is sponsored by the Center for International Education, International Student & Scholar Services.   


Study Abroad Information Table in GSC from 3:30-5:00pm
Check out the various study abroad options available to all students at the CIE's information table! This event is sponsored by the Center for International Education, Education Abroad. 


GoinGlobal -- Internship & Job Search Demonstration in CLC 530 at 12:00pm 
Let your career ambitions cross borders with expert advice on how to find an internship or job in your dream location or close to home. This event is sponsored by the Student Success Center and Career Development Office. 

Culture of Innovation featuring Assaf Luxembourg in CLC 412 from 6:00-8:30pm 
Assaf Luxembourg, an experienced business development, marketing, and sales professional from Israel will provide a dynamic presentation on the Culture of Innovation featuring Israel's "ecosystem" as a case study. Presentation will be followed by an open networking event. This event is sponsored by the Center for Innovation, MBA program, and Sedler Center. 


International Coffee Hour in GSC, Faces of the World Lounge from 3:30-4:30pm 
Join Citizens of the World as they host International Coffee Hour with free food and coffee. This event is sponsored by the Center for International Education and Citizens of the World. 

Sushi Roll Making in GSC, Faces of the World Lounge from 5:00-7:00pm 
Learn how to make sushi! This event is sponsored by Asian and American Students in Action (ASIA). 


Uniting the World Against Cancer in GSC, 1st floor from 12:00-2:00pm 
Colleges Against Cancer will be passing out ribbons for each type of cancer to raise awareness and let people know about the spread of cancer throughout the world. T-shirts wil be sold and students can sign up to join CAC's main event in the spring! This event is sponsored by College Against Cancer. 


Night Under the Stars: 2nd Annual International Gala at the Madison Event Center from 7:00-11:00pm 
Citizens of the World hosts their 2nd annual international gala featuring dinner, international skits, a talent show, international dances, and fashion show. Tickets are $15/person. Stop by the Center for International Education to buy your ticket or email
