Construction Moves Forward »

Winter is upon us, the wave of holiday cheer has subsided, and we're all back, working hard to make 2009 a great year at Xavier. Despite the frigid temperatures, construction on the Hoff Academic Quad is progressing. Get the latest in this month's video. January's Xavier Faces are Kaleel Skeirik, professor in the Department of Music, and Gene Carmichael, S.J., interim vice president for Mission and Identity. Along with our regular features, we're launching a new "Ask the Experts" column this month. As always, we would like to hear from you. Send us your thoughts or suggestions.

Employee Recognition

Inside Xavier is pleased to spotlight the University's new monthly Employee Recognition Program, which publicly recognizes individuals who consistently reflect our Jesuit mission in terms of being men and women for others, consistently go the extra mile in their efforts and consistently put Xavier's interests ahead of their own. This honor is part of a larger initiative of the President's Administrative Council to better inform, connect and recognize faculty, staff and administrators throughout the institution. Honorees are selected by the President's Cabinet. If you would like to nominate someone for employee recognition, fill out our nomination form.
