Business Analytics Information Systems Department offers the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree in Information Systems. Also offered is a minor in information technology. In addition to traditional studies, majors in information systems:
- Take advantage of internships and paid co-ops during the academic year and in the summer at leading companies and organizations. Recent co-op employers have included the Cincinnati Reds, Monster.com, ABC/New York Siemens, the Cincinnati Bengals, Ernst and Young, and other small to medium businesses throughout the greater Cincinnati area.
- Join the Information Systems Student Club, which sponsors regular activities, including socials, visits to local places of employment, talks by professionals in the field, and career counseling.
- Get matched with an Executive Mentor, who works with the student for his or her four years at Xavier to provide professional guidance, networking support and career connections. Xavier is one of the first schools in the nation to offer this type of mentor program.
