Faculty Retirement Readiness Workshop – April 15th
Are you a faculty member considering retirement in the next 10 years? If so, please plan to attend the Faculty Retirement Readiness Workshop scheduled for Friday, April 15, 2016. The workshop is jointly sponsored by the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and Human Resources. The half-day program, held from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Smith 247, addresses multi-dimensional facets of retirement.
Participants will complete an on-line survey in advance. The survey helps to identify retirement priorities and benchmark current readiness in six areas, including health, finances and personal development. A module on spiritual needs in retirement is also included. Finally, a roundtable discussion including retired faculty members is planned.
There is no cost to attend, and lunch will be served. Reservations are required. Questions may be directed to Human Resources Business partner Jim Hartman. To register, go to the Professional Development tab on the Human Resources web site, or just use this link.
