2.3.8.5 - GAMBLING

No student or student organization shall engage in any form of gambling, which includes Sports Wagering (see section 1.2.15 of this handbook). Students and student organizations should consult with the Vice President for Student Affairs, or designee prior to organizing or conducting fundraisers or other events that may simulate gambling (including, but not limited to, raffles, bingo, or casino nights). Any student or organization believed to have engaged in prohibited or illegal gambling activities may be subject to the Xavier's Student Conduct Process, and/or legal action under state or federal law.
