Mentee Application, Professional Mentor Program

The Professional Mentor Program program offers an innovative approach to mentoring by providing students with a practical application of networking skills, personal and professional growth, insight into the realities of their chosen career field and a “best professional friend.” Once matched, the pair remains connected until the student graduates from Xavier. The Professional Mentor Program has been around for 20 years and has served almost 4,000 students in that time.

Eligible mentees include sophomores, juniors, or 1st year graduate students with a 2.25 minimum GPA. If you do not yet meet that requirement, consider joining Flash Mentoring.

Applications are due October 31st. Approval will come in the form of an email from mentor@xavier.edu.

Mentee Orientations will take place the following week where you will learn further details, structure, and expectations. You will also set up your MentorPRO account and be guided through how to go about finding a mentor and using the MentorPRO app! You must attend 1 Mentee Orientation.
