Faculty Commitment Acknowledgment Statement
I acknowledge that participation in the Student–Faculty Partnership Program requires ~20 hours over the semester. This includes attending two in-person orientation meetings early in the semester and participating in one-hour monthly faculty partner meetings on the last Monday (virtual) or Tuesday (in person) of each month in the semester.
I agree to meet with my student partner for one hour each week to review classroom observations, discuss insights, set partnership goals, collaboratively determine the student partner’s weekly work, and respond together to the weekly reflection tracker questions. I also commit to using the PAITE (Protocol for Advancing Inclusive Teaching Efforts) twice during the semester to support reflective dialogue and guide our focus on inclusive teaching practices.
By signing below, I affirm my understanding of and commitment to these expectations.
