Vice President, Financial Administration and Chief Business Officer

Biography

As Vice President for Financial Administration and Chief Business Officer, Phil is responsible for a combination of financial and administrative functions that serve the financial well-being of the University, including direct responsibility for financing and budget as well as auxiliary services and facilities management.

Prior to joining Xavier, Phil served as Assistant Vice President and Treasurer at the University of Dayton where his responsibilities included treasury management, investments, debt financing, tax compliance, cash flow forecasting and investments.  Phil is a 1992 graduate of Xavier’s MBA program.  He earned his undergraduate degree in accounting from the University of Dayton in 1982.

Phil and his wife, Claire, have three adult children.
