
James E. Pawlukiewicz, Ph.D.
Professor, Finance
Dr. Pawlukiewicz first joined Xavier Finance in 1989. His primary teaching responsibilities are in the areas of valuation and financial modeling. His research interests include the areas of valuation and hedge fund performance. An award-winning teacher, Dr. Pawlukiewicz was chosen as teacher of the year four times by classes in the General Electric MBA program.
In addition to his teaching and research activities, Dr. Pawlukiewicz maintains an active consulting practice as principal in JP Associates, a professional valuation consultancy in business since 1999. Dr. Pawlukiewicz holds a B.S. in Business and Economics, an M.S. in Economics, and a Ph.D. in Finance. He served as chair of the Department of Finance from 1998 to 2007
