Trans+ Day of Remembrance

Trans+ Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence throughout the year. Each year, Xavier holds a vigil to remember those who have passed and uplift the voices of our trans+ community on campus.

Join the Center for Diversity and Inclusion and the LGBTQ+ ALliance for our Trans+ Day of Remembrance (TDOR) vigil on Friday, November 18th from 1-2pm on Husman Stage. TDOR is an annual observance that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence during the past year. The vigil consisted of student testimony and reflections from student organizations on campus. There will also be refreshments, resources, and community at the event.
