Ernest Just Society

The Ernest Just Society aims to build academic community for underrepresented students who are majoring in the sciences, by supporting them in their quest to achieve academic excellence. It includes weekly study sessions for first-year students, with mentoring by peers and faculty. Guest speakers are also invited to expose students to professionals in the sciences.

Are you a first year science major who identifies as a student of color? Do you need additional support and a community to engage with academically? Join the Ernest Just society for weekly meetings during the Fall 2022 semester:

  • Lecture Review: Every Tuesday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm in Albers 107
  • Lab Review: Every Wednesday from 6:00 – 7:30 pm in Albers 302

In addition to lab & lecture reviews, we will be hosting EJ socials. Follow us on Instagram to stay up to date on our meetings and events @xuernestjustsociety.
