The X-Path Program is a new program established to provide individualized support for students on the autism spectrum or with related disorders. Support and coaching is tailored to the needs of each participating student to promote the development of academic competence, social integration, and self-advocacy. The mission of the X-Path Program is to increase opportunities for success for students who have autism and related disorders. Each student will work directly with the Accommodation and Support Coordinator and will also be assigned to a Peer Coach.

Applications are currently available for the first cohort, which will be established for the 2018-19 academic year.

To be considered for this optional, fee-based program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Be admitted to Xavier University through the Office of Undergraduate Admissions
  2. Be registered with the Office of Disability Services
  3. Submit a completed online X-Path Program application. (please contact the Office of Disability Services at (513) 745-3280 for application information)

Applications will be reviewed to ensure that the program requirements above are met and to assess whether the X-Path Program would be an appropriate option for the applicant's specific needs. Applicants may be contacted by program staff for an in-person or phone interview. All applicants accepted to the X-Path Program will receive a contract for program participation by August 1, 2018.
