Carolyn Ottke-Moore

Teaching Professor, Department of Counseling

Ms. Carolyn Ottke-Moore is a licensed school counselor and a teaching professor in the Department of Counseling at Xavier University. She received her Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology/Counselor Education at the University of Colorado, completing a dual track of Community Agency and School Counseling. She earned a Bachelor of Liberal Arts at Xavier with concentrations in Education, Philosophy and Theology. Ms. Ottke-Moore brings over twenty years of experience as a professional educator. She has worked as a paraprofessional, teacher, preschool therapist, research coordinator at the University of Colorado, and as a high school counselor. She brings a comprehensive perspective from working at all levels of the educational system. Her areas of interest focus on equity in education, systemic change, serving diverse populations, and family/community involvement in schools.
