David Knutson Presents at International Crime Fiction Festival

David Knutson, Professor in the Department of Classics & Modern Languages, spoke at Tenerife Noir, an international crime fiction festival and seminar, held at the Universidad de La Laguna in Tenerife, Spain in March of 2019. With this lecture, Dr. Knutson expanded his research on crime fiction in rural settings to include works by Argentinean authors whom he met at the Córob Mata festival in September 2018. This presentation enhances Dr. Knutson's profile as an internationally recognized scholar of Spanish-written crime fiction while continuing to expand the awareness of the rural setting for this popular genre fiction.
