Xavier University Center Receives I-CAIR Award

April 18, 2012

On April 14, Xavier University’s Dorothy Day Center for Faith & Justice (CFJ) accepted the I-CAIR award for Encouraging Dialogue from the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) at their Annual Banquet. The CFJ was nominated by CAIR staff for “the extensive work they have done to support Muslim students on campus and to organize and support interfaith dialogue in the Cincinnati community.”

“This award is evidence that our programs and relationships are fulfilling our mission to promote pluralism in our community and deepen the spiritual lives of students from all faiths on our campus,” says Andrea Bardelmeier, assistant director for Ecumenical & Multi-Faith Ministry.
