Xavier Rabbi and Interfaith Founder to Share his Experiences in Darfur

Christ Church Cathedral, 318 East 4th Street downtown, will host Darfur Sunday on September 13. Imam Ilyas Nashid of the Cincinnati Islamic Community Center will read from the Quran and other Scriptures will be read in Hebrew and Sudanese. The featured preacher at both the 8:00 and 10:00 a.m. services is Xavier University’s Rabbi Abie Ingber. A “Conversation with the Rabbi” will be held at 9:00 a.m. with Rabbi Ingber speaking about and sharing photos of his recent visit to Darfur. The event is free and open to the public, as are these other related events.
