Xavier ROTC holds blood drive benefiting men and women in the armed forces and their families

The drive is on Friday, Dec. 7, at the Xavier Armory on Winding Way | December 5, 2012

Xavier ROTC’s All For One Battalion is holding a blood drive on Friday, Dec. 7, in honor of those serving in the military.

The Armed Services Blood Program will be in the Xavier Armory at 3908 Winding Way from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. One donation can save as many as three lives and will go directly to service members in need or their families. No appointment is necessary.

The Xavier Armory is located on the west side of campus across Victory Parkway from the main campus.

Xavier’s All For One Battalion has more than 70 Cadets, including those from partner schools Miami University and Northern Kentucky University. The Army ROTC program has been a part of Xavier since 1936. Once mandatory for all freshmen and sophomores, the program is now a college elective leading to a commission as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Army and often includes an academic scholarship.

The Armed Services Blood Program provides safe, quality blood products for all service members and their families in peace time and war.
