Head Coaching Position
The Xavier University Men's Club Volleyball is currently seeking a Head Volleyball Coach.
Xavier University Men's Club Volleyball is a student directed organization.  Club Volleyball allows students an opportunity to participate in activities outside of education.  The role of the club officers ranges from securing tournament and play date game locations, controlling and tracking of the club's budget, establishing fundraising methods, being actively committed in servicing the community, and much more.  This allows the coach to focus primarily on the team, and his/her method and approach to coaching. 
 XUVBC is a Division II Independent team that is part of NCVF.  In contests this year, we have taken first in the silver division of the Dayton Flyer Classic, tied for fifth at the "Back to Harwood Classic" at Michigan State, competed in a scrimmage vs. the Luther Luckett Correctional Complex and another scrimmage vs. University of Kentucky, placed 8th at the WIU Cornfield Classic, placed 6th at the Lewis Invitational, placed 4th at the Vanderbilt Invitational, and recently won the Bronze Division Championship at the NCVF National Championships.  A young and athletic team, XUVBC has continuously grown and improved over the past year and half on and off the court. 
Job Description
Xavier University Men's Club Volleyball is seeking an experienced and successful coach who is committed to improving the club volleyball program.  Duties include: individual and team skill instruction and development, practice management, game day management, enforcing team rules and policies, communicating with other coaches and officials, and striving to evoke sportsmanship and team spirit into the game.
Time Requirements
o    2 practices per week
o    2-3 hours of practice in the evening
o    2-3 tournaments per semester, of which 1 is usually overnight
Coaching experienced is preferred but not required. Playing experience is required.
Includes travel expenses including gas, hotels, and flights, as well as a stipend.
