Women's Center offering free summer series on health issues from anxiety to integrative medicine

The series is in collaboration with Health and Counseling Center and takes place every Wednesday at noon through Aug.6 | July 22, 2008

The final two events in the "Women's Health Today" series at The Women's Center are being held this Wednesday, July 30, and next Wednesday, Aug. 6. The Women's Center has been collaborating this summer with Psychological Services and the McGrath Health and Counseling Center to present the weekly series from the University of California's program "Women's Health Today."

These talks, which take place at noon at the Women's Center, were originally aired monthly on the University of California Television channel from 2003 to 2007, co-sponsored by the San Francisco Center for Gender Equity and the National Center for Excellence in Women's Health. Sessions are free and open to the public. Bring a bag lunch and a friend to the Women's Center at 1415 Dana Ave. on the following dates:

July 30-The Solution to Weight: Healthy Living and Self-Acceptance
Aug. 6-The Teen Girl Brain: Insights Into What Makes Us Women
