The Williams College of Business hosts the third annual International Trade Conference at Xavier

Xavier’s Williams College of Business, in partnership with the Southern Ohio District Export Council, is hosting the third annual International Trade Conference at the Cintas Center. “Selling to Central and South America” takes place from 7:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29.

Presenters include Cynthia Stockwell, Executive Director of International Programs at Xavier, who is speaking on the political view of international trade. Other topics include free trade agreements, corporate and governmental perspectives, banking challenges and legal considerations. Presenters from Procter & Gamble, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Inter-American Development Bank, and Frost Brown Todd are among those slated to speak.

The keynote address is being given by Everett Eissenstat, Assistant United States Trade Representative for the Western Hemisphere, who will talk about “Central and South America FTAs: Where We Are Today and  Its Future Impact on the U.S.”
