Excitement is building on the Xavier University campus as on June 29 and 30 faculty and staff from the Williams College of Business (WCB) will start moving into the new James E. Hoff, S.J. Academic Quad.
On Tuesday, June 29 at approximately 10:00 a.m. faculty and staff who are currently located in Hailstones Hall will be moved to the new WCB, which is located on the northeast corner of Dana and Ledgewood. Hailstones Hall is located across Ledgewood from the new building.
On Wednesday, June 30, faculty and staff who are currently located in Schott Hall (Admission Building) will move into the new WCB.
A total of 77 faculty and staff will be moved over the two days.
Because of a water valve failure on the second floor of the new WCB, 23 faculty and staff will not be moved on June 29 or 30. Repairs are being made to drywall and carpeting. A new move in date for those affected by the water valve failure has not been set, but every effort is being made to have everyone moved into their new offices before the start of classes in August.
Moves to the new Conaton Learning Commons are scheduled to take place in mid-July.
