“Collegial Leadership: Deepening Collaborative Processes to Advance Mission and Outcomes” was presented by Chief Mission Officer Debra Mooney, David Burns, Director of Faculty Programs at The Center for Mission and Identity, and Scott Chadwick, Provost & Chief Academic Officer, at the annual meeting of the Higher Learning Commission in Chicago.


A Celebration of Excellence was held on April 3 to recognize participants in offerings of the Center for Mission and Identity. The honorees included:
• 18 participants in the Ignatian Mentoring Program for Faculty
• 8 participants in the Mission Academy for Faculty
• 36 participants in the Lenten Bible study
• 9 participants in Discernment Group II
• 10 participants in Discernment Group III
• 2012 Conway Fellow, Michael Goldweber, professor of computer science, for An Inter-Institutional, Discipline-Based Service Learning Study Abroad Experience for Computing Students
• Annette Marksberry, associate vice president for strategic information resources, for her participation in the 2010-12 Ignatian Colleagues Program
• Ravi Chinta, associate professor, Global Business, and Jennifer Tighe, Interpersonal Communication, for their work with the Jesuit Commons
