Annual art faculty exhibition at the Cohen Center features works in multiple media

The exhibit continues for three weeks in the Xavier University Art Gallery | January 19, 2012

An exhibition of works by faculty members in the Department of Art opened on Friday, Jan. 20, with an artists’ reception at the Xavier University Art Gallery in the A.B. Cohen Center.

The public can view the exhibit between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. The exhibit concludes on Saturday, Feb. 11, which is also the Fine Arts Sampler Weekend, when the gallery is open from noon-4:00 p.m.
Faculty members’ submissions include works in ceramics, digital and paper collage, fibers, painting, photography, prints and sculpture.

Artists displaying their work include department chair Suzanne Chouteau, Bruce Erikson, Jonathan Gibson, Marsha Karagheusian, Kelly Phelps, and adjunct faculty members Christine Jackson, David Steinbrunner, Dana Tindall, Kitty Uetz and Jan Wiesner.
