Several Xavier IT systems down last night. Back up now.

Last night, from 11:30 p.m. - 5:00 a.m., a number of Xavier systems experienced unexpected outages for varying periods of time due to equipment issues.  The Xavier website and email were down for 1.5 hours  The portal and Banner INB and SSB were inaccessible for the full period.  Workflow was also down. 

Staff from Information Technologies have been working overnight to restore systems, in partnership with its vendors.  Additional analysis and testing will occur today.

There appears to be no data loss. All systems have been tested and appear to be functioning normally.  Email received during the outage was queued and then delivered once the system was restored.
