Patrick McCaskey, Chicago Bears co-owner, speaks on faith and sports in first Ann Buenger lecture

The lecture on Thursday, Nov. 11, at the Cintas Center is free and open to the public | November 9, 2010

Patrick McCaskey, co-owner of the NFL Chicago Bears, is speaking on faith and sports in the first presentation of the  2010 Ann Buenger Speaker Series on Thursday, Nov. 11.

McCaskey presents the keynote address at Xavier’s Schiff Conference Center at the Cintas Center at 4:30 p.m. A reception begins at 4:00 p.m.

In his address, McCaskey speaks about his Catholic faith and how it relates to his profession in the world of sports. He is the grandson of the Bears’ founder, and he established Sports Faith International to promote the value of sports in forming Christian virtue.

“I pray the divine coach finds me worthy to be on his first team,” McCaskey said .
