Barbara Henshaw named executive-in-residence for Williams College of Business

Barbara Henshaw, vice president and officer in charge at the Cincinnati Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, is the newest executive-in-residence in the Williams College of Business's Gerald DeBrunner Executive-in-Residence Program. Responsible for the branch’s board of directors, business advisory council and community engagement with bankers and business and civic leaders throughout the southern Ohio/eastern Kentucky region, Henshaw also serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland’s district executive leadership committee.

Henshaw holds a BBA in accounting and finance from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Xavier. She is on the executive committee and financial education committee of the board of the economics center for education and research at the University of Cincinnati; a member of the board of directors and chair-elect of the impact cabinet of the United Way of Greater Cincinnati; a member of the board of executive advisors and mentor for Williams College of Business; a member of the arts and culture panel of The Cincinnatus Association; and a member of the Leadership Cincinnati alumni health and human services committee.

She joins as executives-in-residence Michael Conaton, retired vice chairman of the Midland Co.; Al Sampson, vice president of human resources of the Canadian Pacific Railway and director of Sampson Consulting; Donald Dufek, retired executive of The Kroger Co. and ECR specialist; Gerald DeBrunner, retired vice chairman and managing partner of Deloitte & Touche; Robert J. Kohlhepp, vice chairman of the Cintas Corp.; Lawrence Leser, retired CEO of the E.W. Scripps Co.; and Mary Anne Gale, retired vice president of Accelerate Asia and the Procter and Gamble Co.

The executive-in-residence program in the Williams College of Business is designed to allow for experienced executives to mentor students and work with faculty. Executives-in-residence meet with each entering freshman student to provide career mentoring, guest lecture in classes and work with the dean to achieve the mission of the college
