Bellarmine Chapel hosts special evening of music, prayer and reflection

Taize service takes place Oct. 4 at 7:00 p.m. | September 25, 2007

A special evening of music, prayer and reflection—known as a Taize service—is taking place Thursday, Oct. 4, from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., in Bellamine Chapel. All are welcome.

People around the world know Taize, France, as a literal representation of prayer, music, reconciliation, forgiveness, peace, understanding and reflection. Since 1940, the city has been home to an international ecumenical community, and each summer, more than 5,000 young people from 75 countries visit to find deeper meaning and a greater sense of personal responsibility.

This event is sponsored by the Edward B. Brueggeman Center for Dialogue along with Peace and Justice Programs, Campus Ministry, the department of theology, and the Office for Ecumenical and Interfaith Relations, Archdiocese of Cincinnati.
