Total Asset Planning/Xavier University Pro-Am Tennis Tournament set for June 17

In its 12th year, tournament pairs pros, amateurs in doubles play to raise money for University tennis programs | June 1, 2006

The Total Asset Planning/Xavier University Pro-Am Tennis Tournament (TAP/XU Pro-Am) is a summer tradition in Greater Cincinnati and during the past 11 years has raised more than $250,000 for the Xavier tennis programs. Each year the event pairs 32 of the top local pros with 32 amateurs in a four flight doubles tournament. This year's tournament takes place Saturday, June 17, at the Lunken Playfield tennis courts beginning at noon.

A dinner and both a silent and live auction follow Saturday evening at the Montgomery Inn Banquet Center at 6:30 p.m. Live auction items include a trip to the U.S. Open, a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands with the Xavier men's basketball team in November for the Paradise Jam, a Crosstown Shootout package, the use of condos in the Coronado area of San Diego, as well as Hilton Head, and Silverthorne, Co., a trip to the Super Bowl and a trip to the World Series.

Cost to participate in the TAP/XU Pro-Am is $350. This includes playing in the tournament plus dinner for two. Dinner only is $60 per person.
