Sojourners cofounder speaks on Christian leadership, political engagement, social change

Jim Wallis, cofounder of Sojourners—Christians for Justice and Peace—spoke about Christian leadership, political engagement and social change on Monday, March 27, at 7:30 p.m. in the Schiff Family Conference Center.

Wallis co-founded Sojourners more than 30 years ago and continues to serve as the editor of Sojourners magazine, which covers faith, politics and culture. Wallis, who recently penned God’s Politics: Why the Right Gets It Wrong and the Left Doesn’t Get It, is an activist and international commentator on ethics and public life. He also offers regular commentary and analysis for radio and television, and teaches a course at Harvard University on faith, politics and society.
