Xavier University's Department of Nursing invites you to:

Nursing Assessment of the School Age-Child

at Xavier University, Schiff Family Conference Center, Cintas Center
3800 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, OH 45207

The nursing assessment of the school-aged child has become a core activity for nurses in schools, acute care settings and in the community alike. Using this assessment appropriately vitally impacts the child's short- and long-term outcomes. Whether you are an expert or novice, you will come away from this information-packed conference ready to use the most current assessment techniques and interpretations. Specially designed additions to the traditional nursing assessment are assessing the special needs child, the forensic assessment and legal implications in caring for the school-age child.

This symposium, sponsored by the Xavier University department of nursing, is dedicated to all nurses who care for children.

Individuals who are not nurses will also find the speakers informative.
