National Jesuit Vocation Promotion Day

Jesuits in U.S., Canada recognized for their contributions to society | November 5, 2002

Jesuits from the United States and Canada have designated Nov. 5—also the Feast of All Saints and Blessed of the Society of Jesus—as National Jesuit Vocation Promotion Day. This special day is meant to highlight the many ministries of the Jesuits and their distinctive community life. There are 21 Jesuits currently at Xavier. Their presence has been an integral part of the University since 1840.
