Diane Szczepaniak exhibits art on campus

Watercolor paintings on display at the art gallery | October 23, 2002

The department of art presents the exhibition of watercolor paintings by Diane Szczepaniak, beginning Friday, Oct. 25, and running through Sunday, Nov. 22, in the Cohen Center art gallery. The exhibition, "In Pursuit of Form," displays Szczepaniak's paintings where the form emerges from layers of watercolor. Szczepaniak was born in Michigan and studied for five years with sculptor Michael Skop in Fort Thomas, Ky. Since the early 1980s, she has exhibited her art in venues such as the Baltimore Museum of Art and the Philadelphia Museum of Art. She also has works featured in the permanent collection of the Cincinnati Art Museum. On Friday, Oct. 25, from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. an artist's reception with refreshments is being held at the Cohen Center.
