Meal Plan Information

Spring 2021 meal plan selections are now open for purchase or changes.  Go to the dining site under meal plan purchase.  Please call 513-745-4281 if you are needing assistance. 

REMINDER that you have until the first Friday of Spring Semester to downgrade or cancel a meal plan. (January 22, 2021)  Meal plans can be added or upgraded at anytime.



  • Meal Plan Selections are available now.  Changes can be made through August 21st and only additions can happen after that date.

To get the most out of your Xavier experience and encourage wellness, students living in Buenger, Brockman, Husman, Fenwick, and Kuhlman may choose between Xavier Blue or Silver meal plans.

For on-campus apartment and commuter students, meal plans are optional and strongly recommended. These students may choose from all meal plans available. Approximately 73% of the student body enjoys a meal plan to satisfy their dining needs!  Commuter Plans - 25 - 40 - 80 or 105 Blocks

  • During the 2020-2021 school year you MUST have a meal plan in order to eat in the Dining Hall. 
  • There will be a new Mobile Reservation system, more information to come. 
  • All Students are required to make a reservation in order to eat in the Dining Hall.

 **During the 2020-2021 school year, the ability to use your swipes for friends and family will not be permitted due to the CDC Guidelines and social distancing recommendations by Xavier's COVID19 Task Force.

Terms and Conditions:

  • The Meal plan you select is in effect for both the Fall and Spring Semesters. For your convenience, this is an auto-renewal pass for both semesters of one academic year. Changes for each semester are available to be made through the first Friday of the semester by 5:00 pm; after which time only meal plan upgrade or new purchases are permitted.
  • Upgrades to meal plans are allowed at any time during the assigned semester through the student self-service portal or by contacting XavierConneX. Meal plans purchased or upgraded after the first week of classes will be sold at a prorated price, if applicable. The student's Bursar account will be adjusted to reflect the new meal plan price.
  • The refund schedule follows the University Institutional Policy published on the Xavier University Bursar's website. Please refer to this policy at
  • Your meal plan selection is billed to your student account through the Bursar's Office.
  • Unused Dining Dollars will carry over from the Fall Semester to the Spring Semester. However, any remaining Dining Dollars at the end of the Spring Semester are nonrefundable.
  • Unused meal plan swipes must be used within their respective semester. The unused meal swipes will not carry over from one semester to the next.
