A Flurry of Awards: Xavier Tops Magazine Rankings
In a new survey of 2,000 schools by The Princeton Review/Entrepreneur magazine, Xavier is distinguished as one of the top schools in the country for undergraduate entrepreneurship programs. (Xavier comes in a cool 25th.) Xavier is also named by G.I. Jobs magazine as a "Military Friendly School" for 2012. And the University is one of the best in the nation according to Forbes annual ranking of America's Top Colleges. Xavier is ranked 184 overall, 157 among private colleges, 36 in the Midwest and 16 in best Master's colleges. |

This year's "Musketeer Madness Presented by Skyline Chili" takes place on Saturday, Oct. 22. This free event begins with a Fan Fest and autograph signing on the plaza in front of Cintas Center starting at 4:00 p.m. The event continues inside as both men's and women's basketball teams are introduced to the fans with a light show. Golfer Jason Kokrak, a Xavier graduate, earns his first career Nationwide Tour victory, in the Boise (Idaho) Open. The long-hitting Kokrak finishes at 18-under 266 to become the tour's 10th first-time winner and fourth rookie winner in 2011. |
