Health Services program ranked No. 1 nationally again
Modern Healthcare magazine ranked Xavier's graduate program in Health Services Administration as the "Top Business Graduate School for Physician-Executives" in its April 26 issue. This is the second time in three years the magazine has ranked the program No. 1 nationally.

MBA programs ranked among nation's best by U.S. News
U.S. News & World Report ranked four of Xavier's Williams College of Business MBA programs among the top 25 in the nation. The International Business program was ranked No. 24; Finance ranked No. 23; Management ranked No. 20; and the Executive MBA program was ranked No. 17. The rankings were part of the magazine's "America's Best Graduate Schools 2011." |

Women of Excellence hands out $60,000 in grants
Xavier's Women of Excellence Giving Circle awarded nearly $60,000 in grants that will be used to fund nine University projects this year at its annual luncheon on Tuesday, April 27. “One of our goals with the Giving Circle is to give through the lens of a woman,” said Norah Mock, Women of Excellence executive director. “The grants the Giving Circle is funding are those that enrich students’ lives.” |

Men's tennis wins A-10, faces Illinois in NCAA Tourney
The men's tennis team won its third straight Atlantic 10 Conference title on April 18 after beating top-seeded George Washington. The Musketeers, who are 17-7 overall this year and went 7-1 in the A-10, now head to the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive year, where they face the University of Illinois, which finished second in the Big Ten Conference, on May 14. |

Xavier teams with FDA to host national MedCon conference
More than 200 people from five countries filled the Cintas Center on May 4-7 for the annual Medical Device Conference (MedCon). This year's conference brought together manufacturers of medical devices with the Food and Drug Administration. For the manufacturers, to meet face-to-face with the FDA, is "as good as having a front row seat at a Bruce Springsteen concert," said Marla Phillips, a Xavier grad and founder of Med-XU, which is part of the Xavier Leadership Center. |

Former men's basketball coach Don Ruberg passes away
Don Ruberg, Xavier's men's basketball coach from 1963-1967 and assistant coach on the 1958 NIT Championship team, died at the age of 81 at his suburban Cincinnati home. Ruberg was also briefly the men's baseball coach. |

Business Passport Program featured in BizEd magazine
The Williams College of Business' innovative Business Passport Program, which leads students through a four-year program that maps out a career development plan, was highlighted in BizEd magazine. The program includes basic features as resume writing, as well as intangible benefits such as dressing for success and dining etiquette. |
