The Department of Performing Arts is partnering with Madcap Productions Puppet Theatre to establish a residency at Xavier that includes performance, workshops and master classes, community outreach and internships.
Xavier renamed its Center for Business Ethics as the Cintas Institute for Business Ethics following a gift by Cintas founder and chair Richard Farmer. The center enhances the focus on ethics.
The University extended head men’s basketball coach Sean Miller's contract through the 2017-2018 season—the longest ever given to a Xavier head coach. Miller also welcomes seven newcomers next season.
The University created a new dual degree program: the Master of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Criminal Justice. Graduates are prepared in a variety of roles, including bioterrorism and disaster planning.
